Pokemon Advent - Day 10 - Fire

Now we're getting into some of my more obvious favorites.

Ninetales is, of course, the first Pokemon I ever liked back when I was just a kid, when Pokemon was in its infancy. She's always been my favorite Pokemon from the first generation, for plenty of reasons. I like her design, she's based off of a popular Japanese myth about multi-tailed fox demons, and even to this day she's reliable in battle. With moves like Will-O-Wisp and Hex, Confuse Ray, Extrasensory, and everyone's favorite Flamethrower, she's definitely gotten a lot of improvements ever since the special attack/defense split. Oh, and she's a good Drought setup as well.

Not to mention, her back story managed to become a big plot point in the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. That's pretty cool too.
